Welcome to AMAT UK
We believe that all homeless adults should have access to safe accommodation and the necessary support to rebuild their lives. We aim to reduce and prevent homelessness by providing accommodation and re-building lives, through personalised support and collaboration with other partner organisations.
In an ideal world, no one would experience homelessness, there would not be a housing crisis and there would be no need for AMAT UK to exist.
The reality is that whilst nationally there are 4000 individuals sleeping rough in the UK tonight and every night, we will be here for them and other vulnerable adults as long as we need to.

Accommodation
We provide safe, secure and suitable accommodation for any adult who might be experiencing homelessness in Medway or Kent

Housed approximately 125 new residents, 16 of whom, were housed with their pets2024-25

Provided accommodation & support services to an average of 427 residents across the year2024-25

Received approximately 601 referrals for or from people exeriencing homelessness2024-25

Provided 5330 hours of support to homeless & vulnerable adults accessing The HIVE2024-25

An estimated 4,793 people were sleeping rough on a single night in England in autumn2025
